Quinn Osgood Returns as UM-Dearborn Cross Country Head Coach

DEARBORN, Mich.-- University of Michigan-Dearborn Interim Director of Athletics & Recreation Bryan Earl announced Friday (July 15) that UM-Dearborn alumnus Quinn Osgood has been named cross country head coach.

Osgood returns to UM-Dearborn after 11 years as a part of the Wolverine cross country team. Seven of which as an assistant coach. Osgood was a men's cross country team member from 2010-2014. During that time, Osgood was a three-year captain and was named a WHAC Scholar-Athlete and a Champion of Character three times. Osgood also received an NAIA Scholar-Athlete Nominee in 2013 and 2014.

"We are very excited to welcome back Quinn Osgood to UM-Dearborn," said Bryan Earl. "As a former student-athlete and former assistant cross country coach at UM-Dearborn, Quinn demonstrated high integrity, a focus on academic excellence, and consistent training in preparation for meets.  Coach Osgood learned so much from coach Joe Horka that he will provide a seamless transition for the men's and women's cross country programs."
