WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team was faced with a tough contest against Grace College on Saturday (Sept. 7). The Wolverines freshman goalkeeper Isabelle Shaw made 10 saves for the Wolverines, but the Lancers still took the victory taking down UM-Dearborn 4-0.
Despite surrendering just one goal in the first 45. The Wolverines played much of the opening half in their own defensive third. Shaw was busy in the net, seeing the Lancers take 30 shots throughout. Grace would score three times in the second half to keep the Wolverines out of the win column in the young season.
The Wolverines are back on Wednesday (Sept. 11) against Goshen.
