Wolverines Take Ninth After Day One of WHAC Championships

AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's golf team concluded day one events at the WHAC Championships at Stonehedge Golf Club on Monday (Apr. 22). The Wolverines hold ninth out of 12 teams. UNOH stands on top of the team leaderboard, holding a 25-stroke lead over Lawrence Tech. 

Kristen Guobis was the top performer for the Wolverines, and sits just outside of the top-25 as she is 28 over par after 36 holes of golf. Danielle Gonser has sole possession of 37th and sits eight shots back from Guobis. Behind her is freshman Megan Rogers, who is six shots back from Gonser and is tied for 42nd. Cadence Pero and Andi Evers rounded out the Wolverines day in 50th and 52nd.
