Wolverines Face Setback Against Blue Devils in Conference Matchup

DEARBORN, Mich. — In a well-fought league battle at Crestwood High School on Wednesday (Oct. 23), the University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the visiting Lawrence Tech Blue Devils.

The Wolverines sustained their defensive stance through the first half, leading to a halftime score of 1-0 in favor of Lawrence Tech. University of Michigan-Dearborn struggled to break through Lawrence Tech's coordinated defense as the match progressed. The key moments came when Hannah Pagett opened the score at 34:11, followed by Maliea May striking at 51:00, assisted by Reagan Boyle, sealing the destiny of the contest.

For the Wolverines, goalie Julia Tasker played staunch defense, making six saves out of eight shots. Yet, the Blue Devils' precise execution under pressure dictated the game's outcome.
