ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn baseball team wrapped up a four-game slate this weekend against the Cornerstone Golden Eagles and the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers on Friday (Apr. 4) and Saturday (Apr. 5). The Wolverines dropped all four games during the homestand at Ray Fisher Stadium.
In game one, Tyler Allos tallied a pair of hits and three RBIs in the seven-inning contest. Carter Stephenson tallied two RBIs, while Beck Kjeldbjerg and Gavin Hampton each showcased their discipline at the plate with multiple walks on the day. The Golden Eagles limited the Wolverines to just two hits in game two as the Wolverines fell 15-5 in seven innings.
On Saturday, the Racers controlled each contest, outscoring the Wolverines 29-3. Carlo Corona led the Wolverines in game one, going 2-3 with a run scored. Jack Cronyn highlighted the game two performances, throwing innings of strong relief, striking out three Racers, and surrendering just three hits.
