Wolverines Conclude Regular Season

DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team dropped their regular-season finale against the Siena Heights Saints, where they honored their lone senior, Maya Barakat. The Saints won the contest 76-47 on Saturday (Feb. 24). 

Siena Heights started out strong, with Kayla Hinton leading the charge, shooting 6-of-10, including three from beyond the arc. Olivia DeLong also contributed to the team's 46.2% field goal percentage, scoring four out of four attempts. The team's reserves also made a significant impact, with Gabrielle Martin scoring seven out of eleven attempts and racking up a total of fifteen points for the team. 

UM-Dearborn struggled to keep up with Siena Heights' pace, with Maya Barakat leading the team with 24 points and adding her 15th double-double on the year with 11 rebounds. India Grissom tallied nine points, while Olvia Scott was a sparkplug with five points, six rebounds, and a pair of assists. 

The Wolverines conclude their season with a record of 2-26.
