Kenny Bohney also had a standout performance, recording two goals and two assists. UM-Dearborn's lone goal came from Reece Rath at 6:37, but the Wolverines were otherwise stifled by William Penn's fast-paced offense.

The Statesmen kept their momentum going into the second quarter, but the Wolverines began to show some fight. The Wolverines scored two goals in the period, with Cole Rosenwald tallying both of them (one assisted by Rath, the other unassisted). However, William Penn added two more goals to extend their lead, heading into halftime with a commanding 13-3 advantage.

Third Quarter:
The third quarter saw William Penn continue to dominate, adding six more goals to their tally. Putzier remained a central figure, scoring twice and assisting on another goal. Michigan-Dearborn managed to find the back of the net a few times, with Brodie Mahmud and Garrett Kern scoring one goal. But, the Statesmen's relentless attack kept the Wolverines at bay, pushing the score to 19-5 by the end of the period.

Fourth Quarter:
In the final quarter, William Penn sealed their victory by adding five more goals, including two from Garrett Katrana and one from Max Taylor. Michigan-Dearborn managed to score three more goals, with Shane Marion, Aidan Meyers, and Ryan Savage finding the back of the net. However, it wasn't enough to mount a serious comeback, and the game ended with William Penn securing a 24-8 victory.
