GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team dropped Wednesday night's (Sept. 29) Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match at Cornerstone, 25-16-25-16, 25-18.

Senior Gina Giacomini (Plymouth Canton) led the way with nine kills, while sophomore Regan Rose (Decatur High) was tops with 11 assists, and sophomore Kenzie Mertz (Macomb Dakota) paced the Wolverines (4-10, 2-4 WHAC) with nine digs.

Cornerstone (10-10, 5-2) got 27 assists from Aubrey Lenz.

UM-Dearborn coach Eric Stark's team hosts Indiana Tech at 7 p.m. Friday night.
