DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over UMass in a defensive battle at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena on Friday (Jan. 17) afternoon.
In a game that remained scoreless through the first two periods, it was a lone goal in the third period that ultimately sealed the victory for the Wolverines. The game was highlighted by a stellar net performance by UM-Dearborn's goaltender, Kenna Borso, who stopped all 21 shots she faced.
