La CROSSE, Wis. – The University of Michigan volleyball team lost Saturday (Sept. 11) to William Penn, 25-17, 25-19, 25-15, at the Mathy Center.

Senior Gina Giacomini (7 kills) of Plymouth Canton High and sophomore Kielee Tondryk (6 kills) of Hampshire (Ill.) High continued their strong play for the Wolverines.

Sophomore Regan Rose contributed 12 assists, and junior Regan Sliwinski and sophomore Brooke Wetherill both had 5 kills. Coach Eric Stark's team dropped to 1-7, while William Penn improved to 7-1.
