Recap: Warrior Challenge

NEW BOSTON, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn cross country team participated in the Warrior Challenge on Friday (Sept. 13). The men's team placed 11th, while the women's team placed 12th. 

On the women's side, Kaitlyn Bourque led the Wolverines with a 26:26. Lauryn Hoover was just barely behind her, also running a 26:26. Tariyah Dawson finished 107th after finishing her race in 28:26. Sabrina Kroll, Nisreen Chahine, and Sydney White rounded out the Wolverine runners in 126th, 137th, and 142nd, respectively. 

Brett Leidal paced the men's team as he finished his 8k race at 26:30. Joe Seibert was a few places behind him, running at 26:48 for 35th place. Anderson Gattis ran 28:38 for 104th, while Isaac Tiernan, John Borowicz, Adam Haag, and Luke Kaferle rounded out the Wolverine runners.
