DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey team returned to action Friday night by taking on the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup.

The Wolverine offense was firing on all cylinders in the first period, finding the back of the net three times. The Blue Devils would trim the lead to two midway through the second period, however, a UM-Dearborn goal just a minute later would help push the Wolverines to a 4-1 win over LTU.

UM-Dearborn was led by defenseman Ryan Stanley with a three-point night (1G, 2A). Dawson Nelson, Justin Renzi, and Joey Cibor would all chip in with goals, while Josh Makarchuk, Will Barrett, and Carter Allen all added assists.

Trevor Heslop got the start in goal for the Wolverines in the winning effort.

UM-Dearborn returns to action tomorrow night against Lawrence Tech at 7pm at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
