JACKSON, Mich. - The University of Michigan- Dearborn bowling team participated in the Dirty Bird Classic on Saturday (Sept. 21) in Jackson, Michigan. The men's team finished 11th out of 15 total teams. The women's team finished 8th out of 14 teams.
For the men's team, Nathan Roberts led the way with 578 pins for a three-game set. Teammate Kejuan Matthews helped the Wolverines with 540 pins for his three-game set. The Wolverines would finish the day with a running total of 2,506 pins.
For the women's team, it was Madison Shelton with 506 pins for her three-game set and a very impressive game one, bowling a 199. However, her fellow Wolverine, Katrina McKay, was not far behind, with her three-game set sitting at 496. The women's running total was 2,257, finding them sitting in 5th for the day.
