DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn volleyball team hosted the Calumet (Ind.) Crimson Wave in the Fieldhouse on Friday (Sept. 13). The Wolverines swept the Crimson Wave 3-0 on homecoming weekend.
Wolverine freshman Chelsea Houghton led the match with 10 kills in her best game, dawning the Maize & Blue. Jill Paryaski added 9.5 points as she killed seven balls in 19 attacks and chipped in two aces and a solo block. Marisa Fetterley was the most efficient for the Wolverines, as she buried six kills in eight swings. Kielee Tondryk had a similar night, recording six kills and a block assist.
Kenzie Mertz was phenomenal in defense, as she had 19 digs in the three-set match. Regan Rose continued her breakout year as she dished out 29 assists and three kills for the Wolverines.
