LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team faced a tough challenge on February 15, 2025, falling to Madonna University 88-68. With the loss, UM-Dearborn drops to 7-20 overall and 5-14 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference while Madonna improves to 18-9 and 14-5 in the conference.
First Half:
Madonna came out strong, leading 40-34 at halftime. The Wolverines had a solid offensive showing in the first half, shooting 36.2% from the field, led by Joshua Warren with 13 points. Joshua Warren to keep Michigan-Dearborn in the game. However, Madonna capitalized on their efficient shooting, hitting 45.9% of their shots.
Second Half:
The second half saw Madonna extend their lead with a dominant 48-point performance. The Wolverines struggled to contain Madonna's scoring attack, as Brendan Young erupted for 23 points, leading his team to a decisive 88-68 win. Despite a solid second-half effort from Michigan-Dearborn, including 20 points from Reynolds and Warren combined, Madonna's offense was too potent, and they maintained a commanding lead.
