The Wellness Center will operate under Holiday hours December 18-20, 7 AM -5 PM

The Wellness Center is open to all current University of Michigan-Dearborn students, faculty and staff members. Your UMID card will serve as your membership card and is required upon entrance.

The Wellness Center has recently completed a new makeover. On March 9th, 2023, Matrix Fitness outfitted the Wellness Center with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing the University of Michigan-Dearborn students, faculty, and staff to enhance their fitness goals. 

Maximize your cardiovascular ambitions with 13 new cardio machines, including rowing machines, treadmills, stair masters, elliptical machines, and recumbent bikes. 

An emphasis was placed on Strength and Olympic weight training as the Wellness Center now features four squat racks, each with powerlifting platforms attached. Selectorized weight machines, as well as updated free weight stations, also highlight the brand-new renovations.

In addition to the new Martix Fitness equiptment, the Wellness Center now contains slam balls, battle ropes, resistance bands and exercise sliders thanks to our partnership with Living Fit

The facility was upgraded in the winter of 2020, as a Mondo flooring surface was installed in the workout area, enhancing the overall performance and quality of the UM-Dearborn Wellness Center. One of the racquetball courts was converted into a golf simulator for use by the Wolverine men's and women's golf programs in early 2020. 

Men's and women's locker rooms are also available with daily-use lockers. Locks are available at the front desk. There's are also a racquetball court and a dance studio where many of our fitness classes are held. 

GUEST PASSES ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

UM-Dearborn alumni and sponsored adults of current members may purchase a term pass for the Wellness Center. The cost for the term pass is $25.00 and may be purchased at the front desk of the Wellness Center. Current UM-Dearborn faculty and staff members can purchase a term pass for $20.00 or $60.00 for a year. Payroll deduction forms are available at the Wellness Center front desk.
