Tirador Wins Cleary Invitational

BRIGHTON, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn golf team played in the Cleary Invitational on the challenging Championship Course at Oak Pointe Country Club on Monday (Oct. 7). The men's and women's teams took sixth place at the Invitational.

Tirador was one over after his front nine, thanks to an eagle on the 307-yard third hole. After being four over through 16 holes, Tirador clutched up and dropped in a birdie putt on the par-five seventeenth to bring him down to three over and give him the top spot on the leaderboard. A par on 18 solidified his victory and gave him a win in his final tournament.
