DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team suffered a loss at the hands of the top-ranked team in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference on Wednesday (Feb. 5). The Warriors took down the Wolverines by a lop-sided margin in a home defeat for the Wolverines.
First Half:
Indiana Tech came out firing on all cylinders, quickly establishing control with a dominant 51-28 lead at halftime. The Warriors shot an impressive 43.9% from the field, including nine first-half three-pointers. Blake Davison led the charge with 15 points, and Brady Titus added 11 points to help Indiana Tech build an insurmountable first-half lead. UM-Dearborn struggled offensively, shooting 30.0% from the field, with Jackson Reynolds (12 points) providing the bulk of the scoring.
Second Half:
Indiana Tech continued to roll in the second half, outscoring the Wolverines 49-30. Jaxson Fugate and Nigel Martin contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively, as the Warriors' depth overwhelmed UM-Dearborn. The Wolverines showed some resilience, with Joshua Warren scoring 11 points off the bench, but it wasn't enough to close the gap.
