Kelley Dominates in 12-11 Victory Over Life

MARIETTA, Ga. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines won a nail-biting match against Life University Running Eagles with a score of 12-11. The game was held at the Lupo Family Field in Marietta. The Wolverines played an exceptional game with some outstanding performances by Nolan Kelley and Mason Loudermilk. Kelley scored a whopping eight goals, while Loudermilk scored two goals. Life University's Jacob Long scored five goals and assisted on two. 

The Wolverines started the game strong, with Brodie Mahmud scoring the first goal within the first two minutes. Life University's Mackoy Bodmer responded with a goal to even the score. The Wolverines took the lead with a goal by Nolan Kelley, assisted by Ryan Savage. However, Life University's Brayden Hittle scored an unassisted goal to tie the game again. The Wolverines took the lead once more with a goal by Nolan Kelley, and the first quarter ended with a score of 3-2 in favor of the Wolverines.

In the second quarter, both teams scored two goals each, with the Wolverines maintaining their lead. At halftime, the score was 5-4 in favor of the Wolverines. The Wolverines extended their lead in the third quarter with goals by Joseph Atherall, Nolan Kelley, and Mason Loudermilk. Life University scored three goals in the third quarter, with Hampton Sanders, Mackoy Bodmer, and Jacob Long finding the back of the net. 

In the fourth quarter, the Wolverines scored two goals within the first five minutes, with Nolan Kelley scoring both. However, Life University's Jacob Long scored two more goals to reduce the deficit. With just 38 seconds left in the game, Tristian Berry scored for Life University, but it wasn't enough, and the Wolverines held on to win the game. 

The Wolverines' defense played an important role in the win, with goalie Owen Reed making 13 saves. Chance Mahon had a game-high 16 ground balls, while Devin Roberts and Vincenzo Soares had one caused turnover each.
