Bats Go Cold as Wolverines Drop Series Against Warriors

ROYAL OAK, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn baseball team struggled in a pair of losses against the Indiana Tech Warriors on Monday (Mar. 25). The Warriors defeated the Maize & Blue 16-2 and 14-1. 

Roberto Torres laced an RBI double in the second inning to score the first run for UM-Dearborn. Gavin Hampton later singled to left to score Torres and score the Wolverines' only other run. Luis Gallardo, Josh DeChane and Garrett Gamble all saw time on the mound in game one. 

The Warriors flustered the Wolverines at the dish, surrendering just six baserunners and striking out nine Wolverines. Max McLennan and Gavin Hollon had base hits in the contest.
