CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams struggled at WHAC II on Saturday (Nov. 2). The Wolverines took 11th out of 12 teams in both competitions.
Joey DeVita was the top finisher in the men's competition as he took 41st, totaling 567 pins on the day. Nathan Roberts was right behind him in 43rd as he knocked down 563 pins. AJ Norht only bowled in two games and totaled 389 pins to take 89th. Kejuan Matthews and Joshua Scheunemann rounded out the Wolverine's day, finishing 109th and 116th, respectively.
Katrina McKay took 34th in the women's competition to finish highest overall for the Wolverines. McKay knocked down 521 with a high of 185 in her third game. Madison Shelton and Lilly Adams finished back-to-back in 55th and 56th as they totaled 464 and 463 pins, respectively. Mackenzie Shelton rounded out the Wolverines' day in 59th with 456 pins.
