DEARBORN, Mich. -- In an intense Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference battle on Saturday (Oct. 19), the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines played to a 1-1 draw against the Rochester Christian Warriors at Crestwood High School. The match saw opening dominance by UM-Dearborn as they led at halftime with a score of 1-0, thanks to a well-placed goal by Rena Arabi. Despite strong efforts from both sides, the game concluded with an equal score after a second-half goal by Rochester Christian's Isabella Ames.
The Wolverines started off strong when Arabi successfully found the net at 24:56 in the first half, rallying spirits and setting an aggressive pace early in the contest. The Warriors, however, responded in the second half, with Ames' goal at 69:50 bringing the game to a tie.
