ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Wolverines couldn't build the momentum they had thrived on in recent volleyball action Friday night (Sept.24), and dropped a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match in three sets at Concordia, 25-11, 25-22 and 25-18.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn (4-9, 2-3 WHAC) had sophomore Regan Rose (Decatur High) lead the team with 14 assists, while senior Sabrina Giacomini contributed 11.

Senior Gina Giacomini (Plymouth Canton) made 10 kills, and sophomores Kielee Tondryk (9 kills) and Brooke Wetherill (8 kills) also made strong efforts up front.

Freshman Kristin Maust and junior Delaney Smith shared the team-high with eight digs apiece.

The Cardinals (7-8. 3-2) got 16 kills and 12 digs from Kayla Peters.
