Wolverines Fall Behind Early, Lose Road Matchup Against SHU

ADRIAN, Mich.— The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team returned to action against the Siena Heights University Saints in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup.

The Wolverines saw the Saints jump out to a big lead at the end of the first quarter as Siena Heights shot 57 percent from the field. The lead proved to be too much for UM-Dearborn as the offense could not find its stride, falling 81-38.

Haylie Wilson and Sydney Dixon led the way for the Wolverines, scoring 10 points and 9 points respectively, while the Saints were led by Sarrinah Ajami with 18 points and 13 rebounds, both game-highs.
