Wolverines Second-Half Surge Not Enough Against Saints, Fall 71-66

ADRIAN, Mich.— The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team returned to action against the Siena Heights University Saints in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup. 

The Wolverines found themselves facing a double-digit deficit at the half, however, UM-Dearborn made a valiant attempt to make a come-back, outscoring the Saints by 11 in the second half, but fell short in the end as Siena Heights ran out the clock, making crucial free throws in the final minutes to hand the Wolverines a 71-66 defeat.

UM-Dearborn had four players hit double-figures in scoring, led by Jackson Reynolds with 18 points. Joshua Warren, Zachary Cody, and Thomas Dillard IV all added 10 points. 

The Saints were led by the performance of Jonas Tester with a game-high 27 points.

The Wolverines return to action against the Indiana Tech Warriors at 730 PM at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse in Dearborn, Mich.
