DEARBORN, Mich.-- The University of Michigan-Dearborn Interim Director of Athletics & Recreation Bryan Earl announced Brooke Bowers as the next women's basketball coach on Wednesday (June 15).

"We are very excited to have Coach Bowers lead our women's basketball program," said Interim Director of Athletics & Recreation Bryan Earl. "She is hardworking and passionate but most importantly, she focuses on the academic success and community involvement with the women's basketball student-athletes. I am excited to see where Coach Bowers takes the program in the classroom and in competition."

Bowers graduated from Wayne State with a master's degree in sports administration, where she was also a member of the WSU basketball team.
