Wolverines Season Concludes at ACHA Tournament

ST. LOUIS, Mich. – The No. 7 University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team saw their season end on Friday (Mar. 15) as they took on the third-seeded Adrian College Bulldogs at the USA Arena-CCIC in the ACHA Tournament Quarterfinals. The Bulldogs controlled the contest,l winning 8-1.

The Bulldogs scored three first-period goals in quick succession, putting the Wolverines on their heels and falling victim to a strong Bulldog forecheck. The Wolverines ended the period on a 5v3 as the Bulldogs took consecutive minors. However, the Wolverines could not capitalize as the Bulldogs killed off both penalties. 

Kenna Borso and Victoria Hahn split time in net, with Borso taking the loss in the contest. The Wolverines concluded their remarkable season and first-ever ACHA Tournament berth with a 27-8-1 record and earned their first-ever ACHA Tournament victory.
