Tirador Etches His Name in the Record Books at LTU Invitational

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's and women's golf teams battled it out in windy conditions on Friday (Sept. 27) at Farmington Hills Golf Course.

Despite an open course concept and very windy conditions making the course even more demanding, that was no problem for senior Brandon Tirador as he led the way for the Wolverines, firing a very impressive score of even par 71. Along with this remarkable score, Brandon also aced the 15th hole today. His hole-in-one puts him in the record books as the first player to make a hole-in-one on the men's golf team.

The men's team finished fourth out of seven teams today with a team score of +17. Will Barett helped the Wolverines with a score of +4, finishing just inside the top 15. Henry Poston and Jason Cuppari rounded out the team with scores of +6 and +7.

On the women's side, two Wolverines competed today. Kaidie Hayden shot a +27, and Macy LaCourse carded a score of +31 in very windy conditions.
