DEARBORN, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced the 2024 NAIA National Awards Day nominees. Dual-sport athlete Olivia Scott was named the Dr. Leroy Walker Champions of Character Award nominee. Scott, a member of the women's basketball and softball teams, received the UM-Dearborn Athletics SLAAM Scholarship earlier this year. This award is given to a male and female for their past and continued dedication and commitment as student-athletes at UM-Dearborn and beyond.

The national awards recipients will be announced during the NAIA's National Awards Day in mid-September.
