27 Wolverines Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics and Recreation had 27 student-athletes recognized by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as Scholar-Athletes. 

To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have completed one full year at the institution. 27 Wolverines across five sports achieved that feat during the fall sports season. 

Volleyball led all fall sports teams with seven honorees, while women's soccer finished second with six. Men's and women's cross country finished tied with five, while men's soccer rounded out the list with four.
