KANSAS City, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its annual awards during the yearly NAIA Awards Day. As part of the Awards Day, 12 of the 14 varsity teams sponsored by the University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics and Recreation were recognized as Scholar Teams for maintaining a team GPA above 3.0 throughout the academic year.
