DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation is excited to announce a partnership with Nike, bringing the iconic athletic apparel brand to Wolverine athletics.
UM-Dearborn athletics has partnered with Team Sports to outfit Wolverine student-athletes in Nike apparel starting with the 2019-20 season, building a consistent brand for athletics across all sports. Starting this fall, UM-Dearborn student-athletes will be wearing Nike uniforms, travel gear and other items of apparel, while the basketball teams will continue to incorporate the Jordan Brand along with Nike.
The agreement with Nike and Team Sports offers an opportunity for all UM-Dearborn supporters to purchase apparel through team shops, including for specific sports, at various times throughout the year. Please check back with athletics.umdearborn.edu for full details throughout 2019-20.
In addition to apparel, the Nike Swoosh will be incorporated into the branding of the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse and Ice Arena, along with marketing materials for Wolverine Athletics.
The partnership with Nike is extended to the entire UM-Dearborn community, as all colleges and units on campus will have the opportunity to purchase officially branded UM-Dearborn Nike apparel or open an exclusive online store through Team Sports.
