DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Sports Information Department earned numerous awards at the recent NAIA-SIDA Convention in Orlando, Fla.
UM-Dearborn Sports Information, under the direction of Nick McCutcheon, received nine Top-10 awards in the 2019 NAIA-SIDA Publications & Media Contest, giving the department 20 honors over the last two years.
The UM-Dearborn Athletics website placed fifth in the NAIA in the first year since the relaunch in August 2018, while awards for second place in infographics and third place for best splash page were also given to UM-Dearborn.
UM-Dearborn finished fourth in the overall standings for the contest.
In the last two years at UM-Dearborn, McCutcheon has received 20 NAIA-SIDA Publication awards, bringing his career total to 32, including three first-place finishes.
