The University of Michigan-Dearborn Player of the Week is men’s soccer goal keeper Austin Dukes, it was announced Wednesday.

The Wolverines took on the undefeated University of Northwestern Ohio. While the Racers scored the only goal of the game earning the win, it was the stellar plays by Austin Dukes that kept the game within reach for UM-Dearborn. Dukes has played strong this whole season after making the transition to goal from defense, with starts where he made 11 and 18 saves. Dukes will look to continue his strong play for the Wolverines in the final stretch of this condensed season.

UM-Dearborn will return to action for Senior Day against Lourdes University at 7pm Friday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.
