Events Conclude at WHAC Jackson Open

JACKSON, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling teams wrapped up events at the WHAC Jackson Open on Saturday (Dec. 9) at Jax 60 bowling alley. The men's team finished 6th out of 18 teams and fifth out of competing WHAC teams. The women's team finished 15th out of 16 teams and was last amongst competing WHAC teams. 

In the women's competition, Jessica Ludwick was UM-Dearborn's top competitor as she took home 29th place with a four-game total of 756. Elizabeth Breitzman finished 55th with a total of 674. Jasmine Carroll, Madison Shelton and Katrina McKay finished in a pack taking 60th, 61st, and 62nd, respectively. 

In the men's events, the Wolverines were in third place heading into the Baker series after posting a 4138 to open the contest. Joseph DeVita and Nathan Roberts were the top competitors for the men as they took 11th and 18th, respectively. DeVita rolled an 868 in four games, while Roberts rolled an 857. Jaylen Watson took 28th with an 826, and Stephen Strzalkowski rolled a 677 to take 92nd with a three-game average of 225.67.
