Wolverines Stumble Against Golden Eagles

DEARBORN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team lost a home contest against the Cornerstone Golden Eagles in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday (Jan. 31). Morgan Miller led the Wolverines in scoring with 15 points in a 69-48 loss. 

Miller shot 5-of-11 from the floor and connected on 5-of-10 triples. Miller hauled in two rebounds to go with four assists to lead the team. Jordan Banks was the only other Wolverine in double figures as she scored 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting. Banks was second on the team in rebounds with five and was stellar at the rim with three blocks. Maya Barakat led the Wolverines with 11 rebounds, three coming from the offensive glass. 

The Wolverines are back in action on Saturday (Feb. 3) against the Madonna Crusaders.
