Wolverines Fall Against No. 2 Adrian College

DEARBORN, Mich. -- No. 2 Adrian College gave the University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey team trouble on Tuesday (Jan. 16). The Bulldogs defeated the Wolverines with a score of 8-2 at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.

The first goal of the game came from the Wolveres blue-liner A.J. Benit. Assists were provided by Joey Cullinan and Josh Makarchuk at 2:42. Adrian College then scored a power-play goal at 11:34, thanks to Sebastian Smith and an assist from Dylan Gajewski.

In the second period, Adrian College continued to dominate, with goals from Cyrus Toth at 2:31 with assists from David Dell and Sam Spaedt, from Dell at 8:24 with an assist from Matteo DiGiulio, and from Smith at 15:53 with assists from Conner Graham and DiGiulio.

The third period saw even more scoring from Adrian College, with goals from Nash Hatcher at 2:21 with assists from Jordan Comilla and Cameron Armstrong, from DiGiulio at 8:15 with assists from Gajewski and Smith, from Hunter Allen at 12:30 with an assist from Spaedt, and from Smith at 14:26 with an assist from Nathaniel Mott. UM-Dearborn managed to score one more goal at 19:29, thanks to Ian Kimble and assists from Jake Emery and Dawson Nelson.
