Four Wolverines Finish in Double Figures in Loss Against Lourdes

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-3, 0-1) men's basketball team opened up conference play with a loss against preseason favorite Lourdes University (5-0, 2-0) on Saturday (Nov. 18). The Gray Wolves defeated the Wolverines 96-70.

The Wolverines had four individuals in double figures. Jackson Reynolds led the Wolverines in scoring despite having an off-night shooting. Reynolds poured in 14 points and four rebounds on 5-of-13 shooting and 2-of-6 from behind the arc. Joshua Warren scored 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting and hauled in six rebounds. Yassin Mohamed and Andrew Leamy each chipped in 10 points for the Maize & Blue. 

The Wolverines struggled from the charity stripe, shooting 56% and finishing 14-of-25. The tale of the tape was the Wolverine's efficiency from the field. The Wolverines shot 35.1% from the floor (26-74), while the Gray Wolves shot 48.6% (34-70). Lourdes connected on three more triples and shot 77.8% from the charity stripe to help put away the Wolverines.
