Wolverines Fall Short Against LTU

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-4, 0-2) men's basketball team dropped a conference matchup against Lawrence Tech (5-3, 2-1) on Tuesday (Nov. 21). The Blue Devils took the contest 70-63. 

 

UM-Dearborn struggled to shoot in the contest, as they shot 30.8% from the floor. The Wolverines shot 25.7% in the first half but only found themselves down two going into the break. 

 

Jackson Reynolds exploded in the second half, scoring 21 of his 22 points in the final 20 minutes. Reynolds shot 5-of-11 from the field but connected on 10 of his 11 free throws. Jimmy Breaux recorded another double-double, scoring 10 points and securing 12 rebounds. As a team, the Wolverines shot 86.4% from the charity stripe, a season-high for them.

 

The Wolverines are back in action on Wednesday (Nov. 29) in a WHAC matchup against Concordia (MI).
