Campbell and Miller Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn basketball teams had two individuals named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams, the committee announced on Tuesday (Mar. 26). Troy Campbell of the men's basketball team and Morgan Miller of the women's basketball team were both honored with the achievement. 

Academic All-District recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To receive the award, you must maintain a 3.50 GPA and be a key team member by starting in 60% of your team's games or playing in 90%. 

Campbell, a mechanical engineering major, just finished his best season dawning the Maize & Blue. The Lincoln Park native averaged 11.6 points per game, shooting 41.1% from the field and 40% from behind the arc. The 5-9 point guard was also a force on the glass hauling in 4.4 rebounds per game in his 28 games played. 

Miller, a sophomore wing from Canton, Mich., was the Wolverines' primary scorer from behind the arc this season. Miller led the team in made threes with 37 and finished just a shade over six points per game.
