BRIGHTON, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn golf team played in their final tournament of the fall season as they traveled to Oak Pointe Country Club to play in the Cleary Invitational on Monday (Oct. 16).
Jason Cuppari and Mohamad Homayad were the top finishers for the Wolverines as they shot an 80 finishing nine over par for a tie of 17th place. Brendan Pultorak finished three strokes behind them in a tie for 30th with an 83. Nick Cooper rounded out the scoring for the Wolverines with an 89.
On the women's side, Kristen Guobis shot a 91 to lead the Wolverines. Guobis finished 11 strokes off the lead, giving her a tie for 22nd. Ava Moore finished two strokes behind her with a 93, shooting an impressive 41 on the front nine. Sofia Cueva shot a 95 to finish 29th, while Macy Lacourse rounded out the scoring with a 109.
