FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn softball team wrapped up a four-game home slate on Saturday and Sunday in which the team sent out their six seniors for the final time. Despite the exciting senior festivities, the Wolverines dropped four games, two against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils and two against the Siena Heights Saints.

Senior first basemen Makaila Cooper had a base hit in three of the four games this weekend, lacing doubles in both games on Saturday against LTU. Cooper finished her career in the Maize & Blue, setting highs in every offensive category. Cooper boasted a slash line of .330/.358/.510 and tagged two home runs, eight doubles, and a pair of triples.

Shae Scott tied the team lead in home runs on Sunday as she launched her third home run of the season late in game one on Sunday. Scott's long ball cut the Saint's lead in half. Scott ended her career with two all-conference nominations and a litany of stellar defensive plays.

With four hits on Sunday, Olivia Scott improved her batting average to .357 and laced a career-high 41 hits. Scott also set career highs in on-base percentage and slugging percentage. The junior was 3-4 with an RBI double in a 9-4 loss.

The Wolverines concluded their season with a 7-31 record and were eliminated from WHAC Tournament contention.
