Wolverines Shutout For First Time This Season

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (13-2-0, 10-2-0) men's ice hockey team wrapped up a series against the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils on Saturday (Nov. 19). The Wolverines were shutout for the first time in a 6-0 loss against the Blue Devils. The loss also marks the first time the Wolverines were swept all season.

The Blue Devils continued to frustrate the Wolverines offensively as they recorded 30 shots on goal, but many of them were from distance and were collected with ease. The Blue Devils put 24 shots on goal but created much better scoring chances.

The Wolverine special teams were lackluster, allowing two powerplay goals in four opportunities and a shorthanded goal.

The Wolverines take on Concordia (MI) on December 1st at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
