GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (1-6-2, 0-3-1) men's soccer team recorded their first point of the young conference season as they stole a point from the Cornerstone Golden Eagles (3-5-3, 1-2-1)  on Wednesday (Oct. 3). The Wolverines and Golden Eagles combine for six goals resulting in a 3-3 draw at CU Soccer Field.

The Wolverines got on the board first as Noah Carmona scored right from the opening kick as he linked up with Austin Dukes for his second goal of the season just two minutes into the contest. Three goals were scored in the first 10 minutes of the game as the Golden Eagles scored two unanswered goals in the 6th and 10th minute to take a 2-1 lead. However, John Rogers would equalize the match in the 36th minute as he would score an unassisted goal to tie the game at the end of the first 45.

14 minutes into the second half, Cornerstone would again take the lead and seemingly take control of the game. However, as they had done all evening, the Wolverines responded as Xavier Walser and Nicolas Pulcini connected on Walser's third goal of the season. Despite the six goals, neither team would find the back of the net in the remaining 26 minutes.
