Wolverines Stumble Against Warriors

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-8, 0-5) men's basketball team lost a road matchup against conference foe Rochester University (9-1, 4-1) on Saturday (Dec. 9). The Warriors took the lead at the 18:28 mark of the first half and did not surrender the lead over the final 38 minutes. 

Collin Miller led the Wolverines in scoring, tallying 11 of his 14 points in the second half. Miller made four field goals, all coming from behind the arc. Thomas Dillard IV was efficient on the offensive end, converting on six of his 10 attempts from the field for 13 points. Dillard IV hauled in a team-high four offensive rebounds, finishing just shy of a double-double with nine rebounds. 

Six Warriors finished in double figures as the team shot 52.2% from the field and 30% from behind the arc. The Warriors forced the Wolverines into 15 turnovers, scoring 18 points off of turnovers. 

The Wolverines are back in action on Saturday (Dec. 16) in a road matchup against Cornerstone (MI).
