Bond and Grissom Net Double Figures in Loss Against Siena Heights

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn (1-14, 0-9) women's basketball team dropped a road contest on Wednesday (Jan. 10) against the Siena Heights Saints (13-2, 8-1). The Saints took the contest 82-55 and did not give up the lead once. 

Shayla Bond and India Grissom led the way for the Wolverines, scoring 17 and 18 points, respectively. Bond shot 5-of-13 from three and connected on a pair of free throws to put her in double figures. Grissom shot 5-of-13 from the field, 2-of-3 from behind the arc, and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe. Grissom chipped in five rebounds and four assists to lead the Wolverines. 

The Saints held the Wolverines to 31.5% shooting from the field and 34.5% from three. The Wolverines travel to Lima, Ohio, on Saturday (Jan. 13) as they take on UNOH at 1 pm.
