DEARBORN, Mich. — The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's ice hockey team returned to action Friday night, hosting the Indiana Tech Warriors in an ACHA matchup on Senior Day.

After finding themselves down a goal heading into the third period, the Wolverines relied on two goals in six minutes to secure the come-from-behind victory over Indiana Tech, 3-2.

The Warriors would open the scoring five minutes into the first period, however, UM-Dearborn reply just 30 seconds as Ashley Savage tied the game with assists going to Madison Schroeder and Zoe Zaifman. Indiana Tech would re-take the lead midway through the second with a power play goal. The Wolverines would tie the game once again with a power play goal of their own as Taylor Spence deflected an Amy Palaian shot from the point. Samantha Sensoli would add the other assist on the Spence tally. Sensoli found herself on the scoresheet once again six minutes later as she popped in a rebound off of a fantastic individual effort by Schroeder. UM-Dearborn found themselves shorthanded late in the game, but were able to kill it off and hold on for the 3-2 win.

The victory improves the Wolverines record to 24-4-1 on the season.

Kenna Borso got the start in goal and continued her stellar play, making 30 saves in the winning effort.
