Wolverines Split Twinbill with Indiana Tech.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn softball team earned a hard-fought series split against the Indiana Tech Warriors on Friday (Mar. 22). The Wolverines lost a 2-1 contest in the bottom of the seventh and returned in game two to win in a convincing 5-2 ballgame. Lindsay Marlewitz and Brooklyn Jones each homered in the contest.

Olivia Scott and Brooklynn Jones led the Wolverines in game two. Scott delivered RBI singles in the top of the second to score Jones and Makaila Cooper and again in the fourth to score Claire Muehlbrandt. Jones hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth to extend the Wolverines lead to 5-1.
