Wolverines Stumble Against UNOH

LIMA, Ohio -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn (1-15, 0-10) women's basketball team dropped a road contest against the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (5-11, 1-9) on Saturday (Jan. 13). The Racers took the contest 82-59 inside The Garage. 

UM-Dearborn's India Grissom had a team-high 20 points, with Maya Barakat contributing 15 points and Bailey Stimac adding 11 points. 

Northwestern Ohio shot 38.2% from the field, with 14 out of 33 three-point attempts being successful. They also had a solid 83.3% free throw percentage, making 10 out of 12 shots. On the other hand, Michigan-Dearborn shot 36.5% from the field and only made 4 out of 21 three-point attempts. Their free throw percentage was strong, however, with 9 out of 10 shots being successful.

UNOH had a strong rebounding effort, pulling down 47 rebounds compared to UM-Dearborn's 43 rebounds. Alayha Allen led the rebounding effort for UNOH, with 19 rebounds. On the other hand, Barakat led the rebounding effort for UM-Dearborn with 15 rebounds.
