Reynolds and Warren Score 17, Wolverines Drop Home Contest Against Madonna

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (2-6, 0-4) men's basketball struggled to hit critical shots in a home matchup against the Madonna Crusaders on Saturday (Dec. 2). The Crusaders won 93-73.

Madonna controlled the contest from start to finish. While the Crusaders only shot the ball at a 42.7% clip, the tale of the game was outside shooting. Madonna connected on 11 triples compared to just six for the Wolverines. 

Jackson Reynolds and Joshua Warren led the Wolverines with 17 points a piece. Reynolds shot 6-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-6 from behind the arc. Warren was 7-of-13 from the floor and just 1-of-2 from three. Freshman Zachary Cody had a strong day for the Wolverines, scoring four points and hauling in seven rebounds, five of which were on the offensive glass. Cody also dished out four assists in 24 minutes of work. 

The Wolverines are back in action on Wednesday (Dec. 6) against nationally-ranked Grace College.
